I just bought Beginning PHP and MySQL E-Commerce From Novice to Professional yesterday at Barnes & Noble.
So far I love it. Went through four chapters on the first day and more today. It’s really opening my mind to Object Oriented Programming using PHP.
I’ll post the site when I get it finished.

Color fade using AJAX

I just did this simple tutorial that can add a pretty cool affect to any site. When you tab off of the input box the div around it changes color then fades away. Letting the user know it’s been updated.

I’ve gone through content management system (CMS) tutorials before but, I’m going through this one from lynda.com just to get some new ideas and see how other programers are doing it. I want to get some best practices from them and improve my own CSM applications that I’ve built.
